Program Details

This program covers all 18 chapters of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. You will be guided through all the important concepts, insights, principles and key shlokas that define each chapter. This will enable you to read and actually understand the Bhagavad Gita in a deeper and more comprehensive way across both Yoga Shastra and Brahma Vidya dimensions.

Weekly Schedule of Classes:

Week 1 – Chapters: 1, 2, 3, 4
Week 2 – Chapters: 5, 6, 7
Week 3 – Chapters: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Week 4 – Chapters: 13, 14, 15

  • Chapter 9: Raja-Vidya Raja-Guhya Yoga

  • Chapter 10: Vibhuti-Vistara-Yoga
    Krishna reveals his divine manifestations and omnipresence.
  • Chapter 11: Vishwaroopa-Darshana Yoga
    Arjuna witnesses Krishna’s cosmic and infinite form.
  • Chapter 12: Bhakti Yoga
    The path of devotion and surrender.

Week 4

  • Chapter 13: Kshetra-Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga
    Connecting the physical field and the knower of the field, exploring self-awareness.
  • Chapter 14: Gunatraya-Vibhaga Yoga
    Understanding the three Gunas or modes of nature and their influence on the persona.
  • Chapter 15: Purushottama Yoga
    Connecting with the supreme person as Brahman.

Week 5

  • Chapter 16: Daivasura-Sampad-Vibhaga Yoga
    Exposition on ethics, delineating divine vs. demonic qualities.
  • Chapter 17: Shraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga
    Three aspects of conviction in relation to actions.
  • Chapter 18: Moksha-Sanyasa Yoga
    Uplifting conclusion on renunciation, surrender, and the path to liberation through understanding Dharma.
